Recently I’ve learned that there are some people out there not yet familiar with this remedy, so I thought I’d share it here.

If you’ve been stung by a bee or a wasp, try mixing up a paste from baking soda and water. Then coat the area with it. It cools the skin and draws out
the poison and the stinger. So, if the stinger hasn’t already been removed, watch for a little black dot to appear in the middle of the paste. That would be the stinger.

When the mixture dries, wash it off and coat on some more. Continue until the pain recedes.

If the swelling continues after a week, or if it expands to a size greater than 3
inches, see your doctor. You may be allergic.
