I adopted a barn owl through the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) and today I got a picture of him:
Isn’t he cute? They don’t list his name, but he’s been living at VINS since 2006 so I did get to see him on my visit there in October. :) He lives there because of the injuries he received when he was caught in an industrial fan. He has a severed tendon and severe injuries to his wing, keel, and leg. And all that means, he has limited flight ability. Awe, I’m so glad they are taking care of him. And now I want to see if I can go back up there for a visit this spring too!
